Cringely says: "If some big display manufacturer is smart and does the right thing, we'll be buying rolled-up HDTVs in about three years." I hope he is right. I have been waiting, and predicting, for years that the day was in the offing when we could curl up with a good monitor (aka "digital paper").

I keep reading articles about diesels versus hybrids. Is there any reason companies couldn't produce a diesel-electric hybrid (in other words, like the current hybrids, except with a diesel engine).?
