One of my favourite books ever is Replay by Ken Grimwood. The story of a middle-aged man who dies of a heart attack only to wake up and find he is 18 again with all of his memories of what will happen intact. He tries to change the future only to realise how futile his attempts are when he dies again, only to wake up as a student again. This time with two lifetimes of memories. Sadly, Ken Grimwood passed away at the early age of 59. His obituary reports he was working on a sequel.
