Well, I'm back. I flew in just before the airport closed due to strike action and I'm supposed to be working to make tomorrow's deadlines. But here I am blogging instead.

Cardiff was fun. I got to meet a lot of the other people working on Interaction and when I say working, I mean working. Eurocon 1997 had about 450 people at it. Interaction will have probably12 times that, but that doesn't mean the work is 12 times harder. It's more like 2^12 times harder.

I also had a chance to sit down the Bjorn Tore Sund who is managing the international agents - I'm Agent: Ireland - and we thrashed out various bits and pieces. However, as an aside as we were heading back to the hotel after dinner he just happened to mention he would e-mail me my sales targets. "I have sales targets?" I bleated. I have sales targets.
