yea, I know i should be taking the day off since its christmas eve but I have my house to myself, its nice and I thought I'd try to get some work done besides what else am I going to do - clean the kitchen, watch movies and then what will I do tommorrow on christmas besides open presents and then what? so work it is and I just realized that I'm not making any money with the employee, i don't even break even or zero out, i'm paying her more than what's coming in and its coming out the work I'm actually doing, what i need is that one client that pays the actual rate (i have clients that were my original clients and they get a discounted rate + the sorta of make up for at the end of the year) but still i'm thinking its not justified having her here at the moment, I like her but is it worth it?
I think the month of January - I need to change her schedule to 15 hours per week and see if that helps how I'm feeling about her being in my house and see if that helps with the billable vs cost ratio. Also part of my original thought process, was this was going to help me with my hours and keep me from working 70 hours weeks and it hasn't helped all that much, I still work about 60 hours per week and my stress level has gone up not down. what was I thinking, buy a new house and then have someone here 4 days a week - what happened to my space?
