Here's a plan which tries to successfully implement role-play online, this time using weblogs and rss.
This plan basically uses weblogs and rss to assist learners participate in a roleplay which pits two sides against each other. Each group has a collaborative weblog, individuals aggregate the opposing groups postings and other relevant news sources and post their arguments, supporting evidence, comments and alike to their own collaborative weblog. As a teacher you keep track of what;s going on, offering up public opinion and unfolding events.
I've gotta good feeling about this one :o)
