PERSONALBLOG---This is such a fantastic day! On the way to work this morning Bob McDermand and I were so tempted to keep going. "We could ride to the top of Mt. Hamilton and just lay in the sun!", Bob said. The mountain top was so clear and bright with it's silver domes on top.
This is my favorite time of the year with the blossoms and the flowers. It is finally getting light enough to sneek in after work rides. Recently I was able to meet Tyler French and go on a ride with him in Fremont Older Park ( http://www.openspace.org/preserves/fremont_older/fremont_older.html ). It was a great ride. The air was crystal clear. From the many vantage points we could clearly see the Bay Bridge. It was green everywhere and the wild flowers were abundant. There was all colors of flowers. I especially like the little purple ones. Even the poison oak was resplendent!
We saw quail and every now and then little bunnies would poke their heads out of the bush and would run across the trail. Of course, I forgot my camera!
This weekend is a three day weekend. I can hardly wait!
