Another day in Paradise
Steve Sloan's weblog. A bit tech, a bit bikes, a bit family, a bit friends, a bit scooters, a bit photo, a bit trains, a bit fun. Eight bits; that's a byte!

Apple Hill, a tradition that endures...

Since before the kids were born, I have been going to Apple Hill. My first time was with their mother shortly after we were married in 1975. Since then it has been a trip we have tried to make annually. The pie at High Hill Ranch is wonderful. A long time favorite of the kids when they were little is the train. They used to get so excited about riding it.

Over the years we have gone to Apple Hill with friends and other family members. I introduced Sue to Apple Hill when we were first dating. We introduced Nicole to the place more recently.

This year it was just Kenneth and I. After we went to the Del Oro band competition on Saturday, Kenneth and I went to Apple Hill. We had pie and talked about old memories.
