In my dreams
I had a weird dream last night. That's nothing unusual, I often do. But this time I dreamed that a major bank had issued a list of international shortwave broadcasts in English as part of its customer pack! When I woke up, I realised that this might not be such a bad idea for the hundreds of thousands of English-speaking expatriates with bank accounts. Not everyone lives in an area where it's possible to see English programmes on TV. So, if you're interested in international broadcasting and you work in a bank or know someone who does, there's an idea for you. It's a pity I always seem to have my best ideas when I'm asleep :-(
