Making the Business Case

The Center for Technology in Government at SUNY Albany was the organization who wrote the guidelines for OJP about making a business case for an integrated justice information system.  CTG is now at work on a A Capability Assessment Model for the Justice Enterprise under a grant from OJP.  The IJIS Industry Working Group is involved in the project.  Meanwhile, CTG has published a very thorough report on making smart IT choices, particularly by identifying risks and risk mitigration strategy.  This publication is  aimed at IT in general, but it has direct implications for building law enforcement and integrated justice information systems.
