Blog Consumption
I wanted the ability to download blogs and read them offline. So, I downloaded NewsGator and subscribed to a ton of blogs (mainly from MS, RD's, and others writers).. NewsGator works as a add-on to Outlook, and it works with Outlook 2003 Beta. This came in handy today since it was a travel day from Boston.
Writing My First Book
Dan Fox and I are writing a book together on the topic of the Compact Framework. Actually, Dan has been the work horse in this project and I have contributed in a couple of places. The book will be published by Addison-Wesley. Titled “Building Solutions with the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework", it will come out this Fall. ISBN 0321197887.
Do U ActiveSync?
I'm working on my last chapter which will be looking at how ActiveSync could be used with the Managed world. Is there anyone out there who is doing .NETCF development and using ActiveSync in thier applications? I'm curious as to what you are doing with ActiveSync and why are you doing that. Let me know. I'll be writing more about this as I finished the chapter.
