Last week, I recieved my very own Tablet PC.  It's a Toshiba Portege M200 and I'm totally happy with this machine right now.  I can work with it like a notebook, or swivel into a slate style form factor.  It also features a weight of 4lbs, 4+ hours of battery, good performance, and a real nice screen.  And the the Tablet O/S and Toshiba utilities make for a nice combination.

Being new to Tablets and the related programming environment, I am now looking at the Tablet SDK, specifically the Lonestar version (i.e. Windows XP SP2 for the Tablet), and I'm hooked on this stuff.  There are so many cool things about this platform and the user experience.  For example, today I sat through someone's presentation and wrote notes on thier PPT that they had distributed beforehand (i.e. annotations on the Tablet via PowerPoint).  And when I'm using IE, I get a PIP that has helpful assistance for entering URL's via the pen.  And what about writing IM messages with a pen... I could go on and on.

And have you seen the Tablet PC Powertoys?  These are amazing and FREE!
