After work tonight I went to the Ronald McDonald house with the Jaycees. We got there right after dinner and we played games, sang Christmas carols, had an awesome Santa come in and gave out presents. It was such a great time. I had seriously contemplated skipping it and just hanging out at home, but I'm glad I didn't.
One of my favorite moments was a mom just handed me her baby (probably a year old) so she could go take pictures of everything going on. He was a cutie-pie and quite content with hanging out with me. :)
It was nice to get into the spirit. And to remember how fortunate my life is. And to be able to help some kids (and their folks!) have a fun evenin'.
