I was just in this copy room faxing something and the lunch room area is connected by a door, which was open, but the people wouldn't have seen me.  Someone was asking about the snacks out and who put them there and a girl said "the fun committee" and she said "who's that" and the other girl said "a bunch of people - i don't know half their names" and the other girl said "well, are they funny" and the other said "not really."  BURNED!  I had fun today and have gotten lots of positive feedback, so it was mostly just funny.  I did get some constructive feedback that some folks couldn't hear.  It's hard to be loud enough for 50+ people that are up/down a hall. Now which part of my outfit makes it for going out tonight?  hhhmm...   4:07:00 PM

I got a lot of turned heads on the way to work this morning.  I think it was the pink cowboy hat 'cause there's no way they could've seen the red boots.  It's National Fun at Work day, people!  Have fun!  Dress a little silly.  Play pranks on your coworkers!  DANCE!  We're having a competition for "most fun dressed" at work today; I can't enter since I'll be a judge, but I figured I needed to set a good example.  And, guess what?  It is fun.  What's not fun is that in bringing to work all of the stuff I needed to bring, that I forgot my lunch on the sandwich.  My turkey-pita sandwich and yogurt will definitely be bad by tonight.  The orange will probably survive.  Now I have to spend money AND try to make myself fix something that healthy.
