Lijit Search

Direct URL to MSN Spaces Photo Album

I wanted to point directly to a particular album in earlier posts but couldn't think of a way to do it. I finally figured out how to do it:

  1. Go to your MSN Spaces weblog home page
  2. Select and display the particular photo album that you want to point to
  3. Click on the "View full size photos" button (at the lower right)
  4. From the browser Address pane you can now select and copy the direct URL to the album

Some examples from my Brian Sullivan's Photo Space:

A recent change means that this procedure is no longer totally valid -- though basically it still works. Unfortunately old links no longer work. I have updated the links here to the new format.

Technorati reliability

Sitting here with a seemingly endless red rectangle moving across the screen searching for the courses by wire URL at Technorati. I am thinking that this service works for most people? Scoble seems to like it and think that it works. I tried to create a "Watch list" - it craps out there producing invalid XML on the watchlist feed.

Does this thing actually work? More often than not it seems to produce bizarre results for me (hanging apparently forever on a search, producing invalid XML).
