David Hoggard's take on local politics and life in general from Greensboro, NC

It would appear that people involved with all aspects of Project Homestead think that if they just continue to be "unavailable for comment", the whole thing will just go away.

The N&R reports that Homestead's principal officers didn't show up for their first bankruptcy meeting and they also missed their March 1st deadline for submission of answers to the City's scathing audit of the non-profit homebuilder.  Members of our City Council have said they are waiting for Homestead's responses before commenting so we probably won't hear much from them either.

I am confident that subpoenas will be flying around pretty soon.  Those are much harder to ignore.
