The 3rd house in astrology is associated with writing, conversation, personal thoughts, day-to-day things, siblings and neighbors.

The Sox are going to the ALCS!
It seems that Billy-Ball had a similar experience to mine last night:
All evening long I had been pacing nervously. I rub my hands. I try to distract myself at the computer. I neaten things up. I pace. I get Jenny-Ball’s lunch ready for the morning. I do anything but sit and watch. I can’t; I’m hooked on the juice. My adrenaline is flowing, my heart is pumping. Who the hell needs a cardio-vascular workout on a treadmill when you can have this? It’s invigorating, it’s exhilarating, and it’s thrilling. I didn’t want it to end...
Intolerable Anxiety
Sheesh. At least the series with the Yanks will all be on East coast time, so I can get some sleep. I had to channel surf for an hour or so after last night’s game to calm down. (As luck would have it, I found Charlie Rose talking to the Cohen brothers, George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones about their new movie, Intolerable Cruelty. Can’t wait to see it.)
How about the curse of Fox?
King Kaufman has a funny critique of Fox Sports' coverage on salon.com: "Bambino? How about the curse of Fox". He also has a rundown of the game.
The CIA intelligence scandal
Just found this on The Agonist:
OUTRAGE
White House Plans to Spend About Two Weeks Screening Documents
White House lawyers will spend up to two weeks screening responses turned in by roughly 2,000 staff members asked what they know, if anything, about the unauthorized disclosure of an undercover CIA officer's identity.
( ed. I cannot believe I just read this. It is unbelievably brazen behavior. I know Nick ran a similar story--but two weeks? Isn't Justice supposed to be doing the investigating?)
Good overviews
The latest Time and Newsweek provide good contextual overviews of the scandal, including the long-term battle between the CIA and the White House.
The stars point to... Cheney?
For a fun astrological perspective, StarIQ looks at the stars and says Dick Cheney is involved.
Now with Comments!
Oh, is that how it works. I just added Comments to my blog - just click on "comment" after any post to put your two cents' worth in. I'm still experimenting - some blogs use these, some don't. Whaddaya think?
By the way, Oliver Willis points out that the blogs for all the Democratic candidates use comments and the new Bush blog does not. I echo his "I'm shocked, shocked."
