Grafton in the fall

Grafton is really a lovely place to live. Working from home lets me go for long walks almost every day through the Grafton Common and on country roads where it’s common to see horses in the yards and a sign by a cooler reading “Fresh Eggs – Free.”

It's small-town friendly. Pass anyone in town walking their dog or tending their garden and they’ll say hello or ‘nice day isn’t it?” There’s also great cycling if you don’t mind the rolling hills and you can ride by long stretches of farmland between burgeoning estate home developments and the new golf course.

Yet it's convenient to Boston via the Mass. Pike and to Providence via rte. 146. Nearby Worcester offers some good restaurants and an excellent art museum, though the city is badly in need of renewal.
