While visiting the US headquarters of Bosch Rexroth today, I was feted to a host of ideas for future stories for Automation World. Joe Biondo also pointed out the significance of Bosch's acquisition of Nyquist, headquartered in The Netherlands. That company has a portfolio of small, multiaxis servo drives and controls targeting the semiconductor and medical manufacturing markets. This addition to the Bosch Rexroth product line will broaden its market possibilities.
Along with this announcement, product managers Rami Al-Ashqar and Richard Rey along with business manager (food and packaging) Dan Throne were very bullish on the company's prospects and recent successes in the integrated motion and control area.
