How do you want to get information from companies that you either do business with or potentially would do business with? Especially after you discover the potential ones (reading advertising, doing word searches on the Web, etc.).

Here are two articles linked by David Winer. The first is an essay about how RSS could be adopted by more people. The second was written in response to the proposal from Yahoo and AOL about charging companies for priority delivery of their bulk e-mail. I've read pundits for years arguing that the spam problem would end with the end of free e-mail. RSS, which is a subscription format, could be a free, efficient replacement for e-mail. What do you think? Would you prefer RSS subscriptions? How should we at Automation World send you information? Either one? Or both?
