I have a bunch to say about NI Week--an innovation panel discussion with the executive team, education including a 10-year-old LabView programmer, Chris Anderson and "The Long Tail." But I have about a half-hour before I have to catch my connection in Houston. So, one other important piece of news.
I had dinner last night with Emerson Chief Blogger Jim Cahill, Dave Holmes and Gordon (I didn't get a business card, so I don't know the last name, sorry). I don't necessarily blog dinners, but I was told that it's official that Emerson has purchased a company called DMI that specializes in electronic document management. The acquisition will bolster Emerson's solutions portfolio in that important area. My main task was to assure that I have a better channel of communication so that I don't have to speculate in lieu of getting a response. Mission accomplished. Cheers.
