Wonderware has appointed Rick Bullotta vice president and chief technology officer. He most recently was a vice president with SAP, coming to that company through its acquisition of Lighthammer. He was a co-founder and chief technology officer of Lighthammer. He also represented SAP on various industry standards organizations
including ISA-95, the Manufacturing Interoperability Guideline Working
Group and OPC. At Lighthammer, Bullotta identified and created a new market segment
for Manufacturing Intelligence software products, and established
Lighthammer's leadership position in this segment. Lighthammer was
acquired by SAP in July 2005.
