Adam is in Alaska [posted by Troy]
It seems that my friends have some desire to find the coldest places in the Northern hemisphere. Jordan goes to Russia, Dunphey lives in Wisconsin, and now Adam turns up in Alaska. He is there doing research for his PhD. Now, I thought that Wisconsin was bad enough, but imagine not seeing the sun at all and only getting a bit of light around midday. Now that sucks. But, when you go above the artic circle that's what you get. Adam reports that the ocean is frozen.

This is Adam enjoying the light.

This is the tundra...for real.
