Everyone Wants to be Mayor... Says Daley [posted by ZelderBar] In Chicago, if you are running for Mayor, you are a member of some sort of political machine, and the Sun-Times reports that Luis Gutierrez may try to run against Daley in 2007. Now, that would be quite a race. Gutierrez has long had major support as a Congressman. Now, he is retiring from Congress and going to make a run.
