Avoidance
I've done everything possible today to avoid doing my counterpoint homework. I've puttered in the kitchen, helped Jamie with his homework, poured over a new cookbook from Lucca, and now I'm here. I don't know why this has become such a chore lately. Once I get going it's OK, and if I'd just do it early in the week I'd not have to deal with this stuff on my Sunday afternoons. Anyway, I'm off to do it right now. No more excuses (although maybe I need a little snack to get me going!)
