Getting Older
Family and friends made my 'getting older' day a good one. The boys made the birthday cake, Joe made a wonderful dinner (a pork tenderloin with lots of veggies) for the five of us on Friday; then on Saturday he made another big dinner and invited several of my friends. Family and friends checked in throughout Friday and Saturday - it was great. By the way, note the amount of snow still left in our back yard. Argh!

And Speaking of Getting Older....
My brain is feeling its age. Today I had a piano recital scheduled for my students at 2 o'clock. I was sitting at the dining room table doing harmony homework when the phone rang. It was one of the parents, wondering why I wasn't at the recital. I had totally forgotten!! I felt like a complete fool, and got there as soon as I could, but they must think I'm a complete scatterbrain. I've never done anything like that before in my life.
