Finished!
My part in the Music Festival is finished for this year. In the end, a lot of my students did very well. One of them was asked to perform on CBC's morning show, which he was thrilled about. I think two of them are up for awards. The adjudicator also made a comment to my former piano teacher about how well my students were doing, so that made me feel that all the nail biting was worth it. And yes, I'm now regretting my decision to stop teaching next year. And yes, I've already told one mom that if she can't find another teacher for her daughter I would keep her as a student. You can almost see the sheen of that slippery slope, can't you?
