Watch for the Signs
A friend put these signs up on Friday along the road going to the College where Joe works.
Halloween
Last night was quite a different Halloween for us. Jamie decided he didn't want to go out trick or treating, so he was the one who gave out candy. I went off to my dance class and Iris went to see a scary movie. Alan came home from a friend's house with a Lonely Planet Mexico book which he poured over throughout the evening, and Joe spent some of the night playing on-line poker.
It didn't seem right somehow...I miss the days when our kids were so excited about getting into their costumes that dinner was a lost cause. And I missed seeing all the little ones shyly coming to our door. Next year I'm going to make sure I'm home for the night.
