Hospital Visit I took Joe to emergency last night with stomach pains. Turns out it was a gall bladder attack. The doctor said it was probably brought on by a fatty dinner, although that doesn't make a lot of sense to me, since all we had were chicken quesadillas with raw veggies, plus he supplemented with a peanut butter sandwich. They couldn't do much for him - just said to make an appointment with his regular doctor and come back to the hospital if he  had another attack in the night. I plied him with peppermint tea once we got home and I think that helped a bit; at least he was sleeping soundly when I got up this morning. 6:33:12 AM    comment []
