Two years ago one of the easiest ways to make big money in America was to convert apartments into condominiums.

Saying that Walter Myers was giddy Thursday wouldn't be much of an exaggeration. Myers, like other Charlevoi condominium residents, is just glad to be home. Located in downtown Punta Gorda, the condominium complex was hard hit, like most of downtown, by Hurricane Charley in August 2004. It's taken more than two years, but the restoration is complete and the residents are coming home.
