I am a strong believer that a unified group can accomplish a lot more than an individual when confronted with a problem within the community. I firmly believe that every manufactured home community with more than 10 units should have a legally formed homeowners association.

Q: I recently closed escrow on the sale of my condominium. Unfortunately, the homeowners' association assessment was not transferred to the buyer even though the HOA fees were disclosed in the closure packet. I am still being billed for the HOA fees. It has been approximately 45 days since close of escrow and my check to pay for the transfer to the buyer cleared 10 days ago.
