With no foreseeable end to the reconstruction project that has spawned lawsuits and bitterness but little progress, at least 50 of the 320 unit owners have taken the same tack: They put their unusable oceanfront homes on the market, took the money and ran - some to such unlikely places as mobile home parks. But during the past week, those who have hung on say the skies are brightening around the once regal tower, which at 42 stories is the tallest building in Palm Beach County.
