[Meetings] Small Business Assistance Program National Conference, June 12-16, 2005, Biloxi, Mississippi

The 2005 Small Business Ombudsman/Small Business Assistance Program (SBO/SBAP) National Conference will be held June 12-16, 2005, at the Beau Rivage Hotel, 875 Beach Boulevard, Biloxi, Mississippi. The purpose of this conference is to supply participants with the tools and information necessary for small businesses to meet and exceed their regulatory requirements.

Conference activities will begin on Sunday, June 12 with SBO/SBAP/CAP Training. Also, on Sunday, there will be a Newcomers Orientation, which will tie in the training session, and provide a holistic approach of interaction between program areas.

The conference opens on Monday, June 13 with an opening plenary session with speakers from the Mississippi legislature, Department of Environmental Quality, and the EPA. On Monday evening, participants can enjoy a welcoming reception on the hotel terrace overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The conference will end with a field trip to the Stennis Space Center where plenary sessions and the closing will take place.
