Lots of fun to be had today watching everyone's reactions to the Napster commercials introducing their new Napster To Go service. It was officially ranked dead last as the worst commercial from yesterday's superbowl. Is it time to start the Napster death-pool yet? I'm betting that in two years time there will be a whole lotta 'Napster Who?'

The web on your iPod? PodSites are sort of like AvantGo for your iPod, except each special webpage downloaded to your iPod must be formatted to work within the fairly limiting framework of the Apple iPod's Notes. The idea, of course, is to allow people to easily get content off the web onto their iPods, using the same tools that facilitate podcasting. Will it be useful? Hard to say[~]people could already download notes to their iPod if they wanted to keep something online, and the text limits are, you know, limiting. But I'm a formats whore and I appreciate someone trying to establish an open standard. Now if they only had more than two sites online supporting the format.
Regadless of what podSites turns out to be like, stop by their page to check out their sleek CSS color changer. The entire site reflects the colors of the current crop of trendy iPod commercials and you can change the entire color scheme with the click of a CSS link. Sure, it's not the first time this has been done but given the subject matter at hand, they really put the trick to good use.
