Nosce te ipsum

Apple today released Mac OS X 10.4.2 via Mac OS X's software update utility. According to the release notes, this update: delivers overall improved reliability and compatibility for Mac OS X v10.4 and is recommended for all users. Complete details of this release are available from the Web site.

Normally, these point releases are not really worth writing about but when we're talking about Tiger, I'm looking to each point release to fix the all too frequent glitches in some of the critical apps like Mail.app and Spotlight.
