Nosce te ipsum

Ok, so maybe it's just been entirely too long between interesting Mac announcements from Apple (despite this week being MacWorld Boston, where there is always the shimmer of hope that Apple would release something of significance (which I guess 10.4.2 will have to suffice).

In this duldrum, the weary Mac eye wonders and the word of the day is Optimus. Every key of the Optimus keyboard is a stand-alone display showing exactly what it is controlling at this very moment. As a developer, this is pretty damn cool and I can't wait to get my hands on one.

Imagine that, 2005 and we're getting excited about keyboards. Oh by the way, it's just a concept design :-(
