A Cecil B. DeMille Digital File! You know the way it has become commonplace to label a movie ( or film) "A Stephen Spielberg Film" to credit the filmmaker - well, robert rodriguez has an interesting twist on this, in this months wired magazine ( which has a feature on digital film - a contradiction in terms i suppose :-) )

He is a commited digital filmmaker, choosing to shoot all his movies now with digital cameras ( Sony HDs) - which is still extremely rare, most fillmakers still use film cameras and stock . The irony of this is that they then digitise it all for editing purposes ( most of them, with the notable execption of Spielberg ) and then re-write the final cut back to analog film! So Robert has just gone an said, Lets do the whole thing digitally.....so the twist is ..The title credits for Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over begin with this: "A Robert Rodriguez Digital File."...cool..... my partners in Darklight Mobile TV will be happy - they started a digital film festival SIX years ago......This post has been a "Stephen McCormack Digital File."
