back to the story....learning the ropes.... as any blogger knows, once you find out about blogging, you pretty quickly learn about the blogging community - blogosphere, as it is commonly known. it is a community that is linked and interrelated as blogs reference other blogs and via trackback/links, they all are intertwined. kinda like a spider.....um, what's the word i am looking for....what was that book about the famous spider...Radiant?.....no, that was the word the spider weaved ( and a clever title for someone's blog )...Charlotte's Weaving? no, Charlottes Web...yea, that's the word...like a spider's WEB....the blogosphere is like a web, each thread is a link to a blog and they are all connected to form a cool shape that looks even cooler in the morning mist....speaking of which, what would a map of all blogs look like? I also wonder....does the six degrees of kevin bacon apply to the blogosphere? except the 6 six degrees come from Dave Winer or Searles or Locke? everyone's blog is only 6 people removed from one of them?  maybe, some  intrigued person will  find out...maybe,  Jennifer will  procrastinate and figure out how to  determine if the 6 degrees  law applies  to the blogosphere... or what a map of the blogosphere would look like... back to the trail....so, after discovering blogs, pretty quickly, i find how to locate and read many other blogs....this is very helpful in learning about blogs/RSS/trackback, etc....it's also very helpful in finding out about blog etiquette and comments...and, seeing  the many uses for  blogs... after shyly commenting a few times on other blogs, i figured it was time to be a brave lad and get my own blog and make my mark upon the blogosphere...this would lead me to another  leg on the journey...a story that will be shared in a few more hours....stay tuned... 11:27:14 PM
