There have been 22 cases of lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) reported in Canada in recent months, all in homosexual and bisexual men with high-risk sexual practices, according to a report published yesterday in the on-line edition of the Canadian Medical Association Journal.

IOL: Actor Christian Slater appeared before a New York court today charged with sexually harassing a woman on the street.
He was arrested at 2am after allegedly attacking a female pedestrian on the street.
Prosecutor Vanessa Puzio told Manhattan’s criminal court that Slater had been arguing with his girlfriend when he walked up behind the alleged victim and grabbed and squeezed her buttocks.

NY Post: Writer Candace Bushnell yesterday was slapped with a federal lawsuit by her former manager, who claims she stiffed him out of $1 million in fees for helping her sell the story that inspired the TV show "Sex in the City."
Clifford Streit accused Bushnell of failing to pay him the agreed-upon 10 percent of her share of the show's profits — a figure he estimates at $10 million.
