It offers strong sexual content, nudity, and adult content. And it sidelines quiet, monogamous people in favor of garrulous exhibitionists, most of whom have something to sell. The show features actual sex machines, a rentable studio for do-it-yourself porn movies, a boring awards show, and a traveling burlesque circus from New York.

SFGate: Law enforcement agents arrested more than two dozen people on allegations of smuggling foreign women into the country through Canada and forcing them to work as prostitutes in massage parlors in the San Francisco Bay area, authorities said Friday.
After a nine-month investigation called "Operation Gilded Cage," about 400 federal, state and local agents searched about 50 Bay Area brothels, homes and businesses and arrested 27 suspects on Thursday night, said U.S. Attorney Kevin V. Ryan.

The authors of a new book published on Thursday say that sexual orientation is decided by a mixture of genetic factors and hormonal activity in the womb - and that homosexuality cannot be "cured".

Webindia: Paris Hilton's erotic advertisement for fast food chain Carl's Jr. hasn't helped its sales.
The ad, which caused a lot of controversy, featured Hilton in a sexy car-washing scene for the Spicy Barbeque Burger and closed with the trademark catch phrase "That's Hot".
The restaurant chain posted a mere 1.7 percent gain during the period the ad was airing.

IOL: Red-faced officials at the (South African) Film and Publication Board, who blundered by endorsing the release of a child pornography movie, are desperately trying to recall copies of the film.
But their efforts come too late, as the film, ironically titled It's Just Wrong, has sold like "hot cakes" since its release in May.
An outraged senior board member said the blunder had caused huge embarrassment to his organisation.
