Tour de las Americas: The 2005 Abierto Mexicano is set to start on Thursday 48th Abierto Mexicano Club de Golf La Hacienda December 1-4, 2005 Nov 29, 2005 – Everything is set for the 48th VIP Abierto Mexicano to start on Thursday. The top stars from the Tour de las Americas, the European Challenge Tour, and Mexico's own professional circuit will compete at the US $305,000 event to be co-sanctioned by the TLA and the Challenge Tour for the second year in a row. Barranquilla joins the TLA 51st Abierto de Barranquilla Country Club de Barranquilla December 1-4, 2005 Nov 29, 2005 – After a two-year absence, the 51st Abierto de Barranquilla puts Colombia back on the TLA map. The US $65,000 event starts on Thursday at the Country Club de Barranquilla and will be played simultaneously with the Abierto Mexicano.
