Thoughts for Today's Non-Profit Board Conference Call
Notes taken last weekend from reading The Dip by Seth Godin.
You work and work and nothing much changes. It doesn't get a lot better. It
just is. If it just is, it is keeping you from doing something else. The
opportunity cost of investing our lives in something that's not going to get
better is just too high.
Often we get stuck in a situation where change seems too painful. To stay,
in the absence of forward movement, is a waste.
Just surviving isn't succeeding.
