IOC in session.... Summary of IOC coverage... The June issue of Record's editorial covers the issue of the race walk's future in the Games. IAAF say they have done all the can politically to maintain their choice of programme, while IOC have the more pressing issue of sports on the programme to deal with, ahead of discussion in disciplines within sports. First posting for a while - miracle reinstall in the meantime Lots written by me since the last posting....though not here. Finished Record at 5am Tuseday night/ Wednesday morning - that after just about making in to work direct from Dublin on the milk train (see below), and a PRODUCTIVE week of course either side... Anyway Record sent out at the weekend - hopefully received by subscribers today (Tuesday). Plenty to write about but the silence here was because I dropped the iBook this weblog is on from three feet onto a solid tiled floor! Which of course caused it to crash and then only partially start to the sound of some nasty crunching noises from the hard drive. However, several Disk utilities, clean re-installs, and prayers later, and glory be, the old thing's back to life. I think I could do with a clean re-install.
