News.com: Apple grabs another video software maker. "Financial details were not disclosed, and an Apple representative was not immediately available for comment... By scooping up Prismo, whose India software is used for creating titles for movies, Apple gains control of yet another niche of the video production market, a tool it can leverage as it tries to make the use of Macs more pervasive in Hollywood."

NYT: Former Officials Say Enron Hid Gains During Crisis in California. "In hopes of damping a political firestorm, former Enron officials said that the company kept as much as $1.5 billion in profits off its books in late 2000 and early 2001." Big surprise there. Not.
