Well, I guess that answers THAT question. You know "how do I get Dave Winer to link to me?" Answer: post before his neighbors' roosters get him up. I think there's something about the coffee not having taken effect yet which makes him more of a sucker for content-free links.

:-)

How can you tell the real geek from the fake one? The real one posts to his weblog at 6:33 p.m. on the Friday evening of a long weekend.

I wanna buy the first ticket to Dave Winer's blogathon. But, knowing Dave's usual cadre of friends and enemies that I'm sure he'd invite, I know I'd be representing the lower part of the bell curve at this event.

Hey, Dave, all I have is the white noise of Winchester Blvd and the guy upstairs opening his closet door to wake me up.

So, I see you are thinking of getting into Windows XP. I should write up another review now that I've used XP for seven months. It's still the best OS that Microsoft has made. It still doesn't crash. But my system is going slower than when I first installed it. They still haven't cured the "OS Rot" problem (although it's a lot better than on earlier versions of Windows).

I don't see how you can work without ClearType either. I look at your screen captures and say "they look so 2000." :-)

Good morning humans!

I'm going back to bed. I just wanted to post before Dave Winer did. ;-) He always posts at about 6 a.m. and I just can't get up that early (It's 5:13 a.m. right now). I don't understand how he does it.

Anyone else like the Google/Dilbert logo machinations going on this week?

So, how you spending Memorial Day? I'll be thinking about the kids who died going after Osama in the past few months.
