Figured out the html rendering problem. My bad, now it works the way I want it to, which isn't default behaviour.

Dave Winer: This morning I finished the Web Services tutorial. A few friends are testing it. I'll link to it tomorrow, and probably run the first DaveNet since Radio 8 shipped. In the meantime if you poke around you can probably find it.   Doesn't seem to work locally when behind a firewall (It certainly won't work if you want to connect to a full peer on the other side) but if you have a 'real' ip address then you can actually make your PC a webservice which you can script up yourself. Even blondes can make it work. Albeit it after a few tries.

Wow! I've been running Radio on my iBook from a firewire drive. Tonite was the first time I plugged the drive into my G4 Cube. The performance is unbelievable. Truly a broadband eXperience, like having a datacenter connected to your house with a pipe the size of the lincoln tunnel.

Man, I am so frustrated with Radio right now.

My categories aren't rendering with an index.html even though the archive html pages are being rendered.

The bloggerManilaBridge tool does not comply with my idea of how Radio should work with Manila.

I want to mirror a radio weblog category to a Manila site. When I post it should be posted to the category (and upstreamed as per instructions of the category) with a 'Discuss' link to the Manila site it was mirrored to.

Selecting a different category and associated manila weblog would do the same to that category only.

This is a far cry from where the tool is, and probably will have to be re-written to the manila xml-rpc interfaces, since they are much richer.

But first I need to get those @%$#^@#^^% categories rendering without ripping my entire setup apart (again).
