Totally digging Rob McNair-Huff's InstantOutline of OSX applications.
His nodes are in order of preference of each application, so the top one is his top-pick. I just purchased PowerMail based on Rob's outline.

Katie Hafner really nails it in the NY Times today
She takes us through several cases where relatively simple devices that were once controlled by twisting a knob or pushing a button are now endowed with digital commands that can take hours to master.
This is exactly the problem I had when I went back to the future in Dubai. The hi-tech interior to the hotel and rooms was just that, hi-tech but unusable.

Here's a site just screaming to be turned into a web service. It takes your birthdate as parameters and returns the day and number of seconds until you die. Nice huh? See y'all in 2038!

Yesterday was postless. I just wanted to see if I could do it. Wasn't easy.
The weekend switch got flipped, beautiful weather all week, now it's raining, naturally.
Since the Queen celebrates her birthday on Tuesday, which is a national holiday, we're staying at the castle through the festivities. That'll give me a chance to catch up. Can't wait 'till Patricia comes home, we all miss her very much!
