Finally got online from Dubai! We had a great flight and arrived at the hotel about 1:30am, not too bad, considering a 3 hour time difference it felt more like 10:30. The flight was uneventful, but very strange to see the inflight moving-map and know that you are flying 35k feet over war torn Israel and Palestine en route to a luxurious vacation.
So much to write about, so many impressions. I've never been to the middle east so it's all very new and strange. The media is the biggest head-trip; Completely opposite viewpoint from [most] western papes and newscasts. Mind bending.
Anyway, we're on vacation, so I'm keeping it short. Can't wait to share the pix I've taken. film at 11 :)
