Goodafternoon from Amsterdam. I'm late with my first post because I slept in :) Didn't wake up until 10am. Not like me at all, but as patricia sez: I probably needed it.
But wait, there's more! Patricia surprised me with a vacation, we leave Saturday for a week in the sun in..Dubai. I'm very excited. First, I really need a week in the sun with the family, second, I've never been to that part of the world and hear it is most excellent. Apparently this hotel has staffers that go to the john with you....turn on the water, dry your hads...lord knows what else. Total decadence, I love it.
So, lots to arrange, gotta inform BNN I'll be off next week [memo to self, need stunt double] need someone to watch he servers while I'm gone [the rooms apparently have ethernet] just in case.
My friend Rob van Someren stayed at the hotel and sent me a pic of the outside. It looks like a sailboat's spinnaker.
