I'm at the hotel@mit. Configuring the laptop was a breeze, nice to have T1 in the room! Now to get my mail working...

Phew, everything's wrapped up here for the next couple of days. I leave in a few minutes for the airport to jet off to Boston for BloggerCon 2003. I'm really looking forward to seeing friends and making new ones. Mind you, with the tv project and morning show I'm also yearning for the 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep I'm planning on catching during the flight :-)

I might even do some offline writing for upstream when I get to the hotel.

The only bummer is that due to my tv and radio commitments I won't be able to go to Yew York on this trip, which means not hooking up with Ken, Cindy, Barry and others in the city. Of course there's an open invitation for the friday night "borreltje" that Dave and I are sponsoring...

(p.s.) A borreltje is a small tall glass of dutch gin (jenever) but is also used to describe an informak get together where drinks are consumed. Often the dutch jenever is served with a beer (from the tap) and is known as a kopstoot (headbutt).
