Cocoa Dev Central: Building the All Purpose App (#1 in a Series). “In the end, you will have a fully functioning, working application that uses pointers, various class methods, retain and release, and much more. In other words, this tutorial will show you how how all the little pieces we’ve been teaching you integrate together into a full-fledged Cocoa application.”

idevgames.com interviews Aaron Hillegass, author of an upcoming book on Cocoa programming. “Tomorrow I will get on a plane. I’ll have my PowerBook with me. On that flight, I can write Cocoa apps, PHP-based websites, Tomcat web applications, AppleScripts or Perl scripts. I can use Project Builder, Emacs, or vi. I’ll have my choice of MySQL or PostgreSQL to use as a back-end database. I’ll use Apache as my web server. And it is all free! If I’m willing to spend a little cash, I can also run Word or Photoshop. I may even watch a DVD on the flight. If there is a Windows or Linux developer on the plane next to me, he will envy me. Eventually, he will buy his own PowerBook.”

Cocoa Dev Central: Including a Framework Inside Your App’s Bundle. “You might have come across several third-party frameworks such as the Omni frameworks or perhaps you wrote your own for easy code reuse across several applications. If you use a framework like that in your application, you probably don’t want your users to have to install it separately in /Library/Frameworks just to run your app.”
